Nine Industries are Ready to Become Tenants of the Jiipe Industrial Area

Nine industries are ready to become tenants (tenants) and occupy industrial estates (JIIPE) in Manyar, Gresik, East Java. Two industries are already operating, four are still in the works stage, and three are in preparation, said PT AKR Corporindo TBK President Director Haryanto Adikoesoemo.

Two industries that are already operating are PT Clariant Indonesia’s chemical factory and PT Unicahem Candi Indonesia’s salt factory. Then, four more companies in the process of development are fertilizer company PT Hextar Fertilizer Indonesia, concrete and construction company PT Adhimix Precast Indonesia, PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk or Sari Roti, and PT CML, Haryanto Adikoesoemo explained.

JIIPE is the largest industrial estate in East Java, with a total area of 2,961 hectares. In addition, an industrial area of 1,800 hectares, JIIPE is also equipped with other areas. Such as a residential area of 800 hectares and a port area of 400 hectares.

Pelindo III Director of Engineering and Information Technology Husein Latief explained, during 2016 alone, this port had served 500 thousand tons of 25 ships in dry bulk and general cargo. The seaport in the industrial estate at JIIPE will be equipped with four docks capable of supporting all activities at the port and industry.
